Balakrishna rides cycle to create awareness on Lepakshi Festival
Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna participated in a cycle rally held from Kodekonda check-post to Lepakshi statue as part of creating awareness on the forthcoming \'Lepakshi Festival\' to be held on March 30-31, here on Sunday.

District Collector Veera Pandian, Hindupur MP Nimmala Kistappa and several others participated in the cycle rally. Film actor and MLA Balakrishna was the cynosure of all eyes even as people gathered on the roads to have a glimpse of him throughout the one-kilometre road.
Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna called upon people to participate in the Lepakshi Festival in large scale and make the event a grand success. Hundreds of pilgrims and tourists from the neighbouring Karnataka state and other districts are expected to participate in the festival.
