Expedite park development works, civic officials told

Kurnool: Managing Director (MD) of Andhra Pradesh Urban Greening and Beautification Corporation (AP-UGBC), Chandramohan Reddy directed the officials of the municipal corporation to expedite the development works at parks in the city.

Chandramohan Reddy, accompanied by the Commissioner of Kurnool Municipal Corporation Dr C B Harinath Reddy, inspected the park beautification works. During his tour in the city on Saturday, the MD noticed rapid progress in the works. He first visited the park at Weaker Section Colony and directed the civic staff to plant more tree saplings. After visiting Vanijya Park, he suggested the officials to set up the equipment for children to play and a gym.

Then, he visited C Camp Park and Rajeev Park and inspected the ongoing works. On his way, he also inspected the pump house situated near Masa Masjid and the central nursery. He suggested CB Harinath Reddy to stretch the nursery to some more extent. He also assured supply of more saplings if needed.

Expressing pleasure over the rapid transformation, he ordered the contractors and civic department staff to concentrate on the quality. He also suggested for continuous watering the medians.
