Hyderabad: Kurnool recorded the day’s highest maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius on Sunday, while Anantapur and Nandyal registered a high of 40 degrees Celsius, the Met department bulletin said. Nandigama, Jangamaheswarapuram and Kadapa recorded 39 degrees Celsius each.

The other day temperatures recorded were: Tirupati 38, Nellore, Vijayawada & Arogyavaram 37 deg C each, Kavali, Ongole & Visakhapatnam Airport 35 each, Machilipatnam, Narsapur & Tuni 34 each, Bapatla, Kakinada, Kalingapatnam & Visakhapatnam 33 each.

The bulletin said the lowest minimum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius was recorded in Arogyavaram. According to the forecast, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh on March 26.

Dry weather is likely to prevail in both regions of the State from March 27 to 30. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
