TTD outsourcing women staff caught stealing human hair
Three women outsourcing staff were caught red-handed by the TTD vigilance sleuths in the black hair theft case on Wednesday at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple atop Tirumala Hills.

According to Tirumala Vigilance Guards Officer Ravinder Reddy, three women−V Sanakavalli, V Subbamma and K Lakshmi−are the outsourcing workers in the TTD. While they were bringing the tonsured hair of the devotees collected from the Sapthagiri mini Kalyanakatta, the TTD vigilance sleuths caught them after keeping a strict vigil.
Later, speaking to the media, VGO RV Reddy said that the TTD security and vigilance wings were strengthened by the surveillance system at all the Kalyanakattas where tonsuring of the pilgrims’ hair is done. In the incident, more than 400 gm grade-1 black hair was stolen by the three women.
