He said that it is not new to the YSRCP to play resignation drama of MPs as it has been doing the same for the past four years even for petty reasons. He said that YSR Congress MPs had never resigned their posts and it was only political gimmick. Saying that Jagan Reddy has no moral right to point out Chandrababu Naidu over his credibility, he said that it is like Devils Chanting Vedas. Being an accused in several corruption cases and money laundering issues, how can Jagan justify his comments against Chief Minister, the minister asked.

State Agriculture Minister S Chandramohan Reddy said that it is unfortunate that Rajya Sabha member Vijaya Sai Reddy criticising the Chief Minister by using improper words. He said that Kadapa district especially Pulivendula constituency benefitted a lot with the welfare schemes of the state government. Chief Minister is committed to fight for Special Category Status (SPS) and TDP MPs are prepared to submit their resignations in this regard, he added.
