SP issues memos to police
West Godavari District Superintendent of Police M Ravi Prakash issued charge memos to Three Town Circle Inspector Srinivasa Rao and three constables on Saturday for not responding to a call made on dacoits entry into a house at Shanti Nagar in Eluru last week. A Control Room constable also received the charge memo.

It may be recalled that six dacoits tried to enter the house of a fish trader S Ramakrishna on March 22 around midnight. On witnessing the dacoits, Ramakrishna immediately informed to emergency cell 100. Immediately, the Control Room officials alerted the Three Town police, but reportedly they did not act immediately.
Following the failure of the police, the Superintendent of Police issued the charge memos to the personnel on duty and the CI also. He warned that if any police failed to respond to the calls, they have to face stern action.
