Complete pending works as per action plan: EO

Tirupati: The engineering wing should come out with an action plan with respect to various works pending in cottages and rest houses in Tirumala and should complete them as per the time schedule, said TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal. The senior officers meeting was held at conference hall in TTD Administrative building here on Monday. The EO reviewed on the progress of various works under way in different departments.

He instructed the engineering officials to take up cottage monitoring regularly and solve the civil, electrical issues without delay and directed the concerned to take experts advice to set up advanced cleaning techniques at Boondi Potu, to prevent fire mishaps. Fire broke out in the Boondi Potu, few days back, forcing the TTD to suspend works in the Potu (kitchen) which started next day affecting production. EO wanted the electrical wing of TTD to set up noiseless fans in Srivari temple at Tirumala for the convenience of devotees. Later, Anil Kumar instructed the IT Wing and TCS team to make necessary amendments in the Srivari Seva online application and include the area of choice of service before April 10.

To enhance aesthetic atmosphere in Alipiri and Srivari Mettu footpath routes, he directed the concerned to grow green plants all along the paths. Later, Singhal also instructed to streamline the road from Gokulam to Narayanagiri queue lines. JEOs KS Srinivasa Raju and P Bhaskar, FACAO O Balaji, CE C Chandrasekhar Reddy and other senior officers were also present.
