Crop loan waiver scheme a ‘farce’: Jagan

Guntur: YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy came down heavily on the state government for not taking any initiatives to address the problems of people.
Interacted with women, youth and various sections of people during his Praja Sankalpa yatra in Tirupatieddy Nagar in Guntur city on Monday, the YSRCP chief said that the corruption was rampant in the TDP government. Stating that the crop loan waiver scheme turned into a farce, he added because of this scheme, the farmers were not getting fresh loans from banks.
Stating the farmers were not getting the MSP for their produce and feeling unhappy, Jagan assured that the YSRCP would extend helping hand to farmers and set up a price stabilisation fund to get a better price to farm produce. He also criticised the TDP government for giving permits to illegal mines to increase the state revenues.
