GATE topper says Kalam inspired him
Visakhapatnam Port Trust chairman MT Krishna Babu said that parents and teachers play a key role in bringing out the innate talent in every individual to reach their goals. He was the chief guest at the felicitation of all India GATE topper in aerospace engineering P Bhuvan Chandra here on Wednesday.
Addressing the gathering, he recalled the days when he was selected for Indian Administrative Services (IAS). He expressed his happiness that Bhuvana Chandra was from his native place Tippanagunta of Bapulapadu mandal in Krishna district and complimented him for achieving the feat.
Bhuvana Chandra shared his skills and techniques to achieve the top notch. He said former President of India Abdul Kalam was his motivation. He praised his teachers and parents for encouraging and supporting him to achieve this feat. Krishna Babu felicitated Bhuvana Chandra with a shield and a shawl.
Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions dean Padamata Venkateswara Rao, GATE Pathashala managing director Mohammed Abrar Nizmi, Mohan Sai Group chairman Bolla Madhava Krishnajee participated in the felicitation programme.
