Pawan meets Left leaders, to fast special category status for AP after May

Amaravathi: Actor-cum-Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is likely to launch an indefinite fast on the issue of special category status to Andhra Pradesh. The fast could be taken up after May.

Pawan has already announced at the Guntur convention of the party last month that he was ready even for a fast unto death to fight for the rights of Andhra Pradesh.

On Wednesday, Pawan Kalyan and Left party leaders met at the Jana Sena office in Vijayawada. Among those who met Pawan Kalyan were CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna and CPM state secretary Madhu. They discussed various issues including the Joint Fact-finding Committee report and the developments in New Delhi.
