Cops to act tough against cricket betting
Urban SP Ch Vijaya Rao warned that they have taken all the steps to check cricket betting on the occasion of the IPL Matches beginning from Saturday.He said that the police teams will search hotel rooms, houses, internet cafes apart from stepping up vigilance on the movements of the suspects and book cases if anybody was involved in the cricket betting.
Guntur: Urban SP Ch Vijaya Rao warned that they have taken all the steps to check cricket betting on the occasion of the IPL Matches beginning from Saturday.He said that the police teams will search hotel rooms, houses, internet cafes apart from stepping up vigilance on the movements of the suspects and book cases if anybody was involved in the cricket betting.
He urged the parents of the children to take care of their children and take steps that they do not involve in the cricket betting and warned that if they book cases their future will be spoiled.
He said the traders were investing their valuable money in the cricket betting and suffering from the losses. Organisers of cricket betting have been targeting those who have money and involving them in the cricket betting. He informed that the organisers were financing to play cricket betting. He warned that they will take action if they have friendship with the organisers of cricket betting.
The SP urged the people to keep a watch on the movements of their children and inform if anybody involved in the cricket betting. He requested people to share betting information with cell No 9491067826.He warned that the police will open rowdy-sheets if anybody involved in the cricket betting.
