Guntur: YSRCP president Y SJaganmohan Reddy flayed that Chief Minister NChandrababu Naidu had backstabbed his father in-law and came to power and he is garlanding the statue of NTRama Rao. Similarly, he (Naidu) mortgaged SCS to the Centre forgaining political mileage.

Says Chandrababu Naidu is an opportunist

``Earlier, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had not brought pressure on the Centre for SCS. He was content with special package. When all political parties started agitations for SCS, he took U turn and started Cycle Yatra for SCS,’’ the YSRCP chief said. He termed Chandrababu Naidu as an opportunist.

Jagan addressed a public meeting held in Tenali town on Saturday. On the occasion,he has said that the YSRCP is committed for SCS from the beginning and reminded that the party five MPs have resigned and started indefinite fast. If all the 25 MPs of the TDP tender their resignations, then the Centre will come down and accord SCS.He alleged that the Chief Minister has mortgaged SCS with the Centre to cover his scams and corruptions. That is why he is not directing the TDP MPs to submit their resignations for SCS, he alleged and criticised that with the 40 years of his political experience, Naidu is cheating the people of AP.

The YSRCP chief alleged that MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad joined hands with the sand mafia and has been illegally transporting sand to other states. Though CM’s residence is 35 kmsfrom here, he did not take action to check sand mafia. During the TDP tenure, corruption is rampant. He reminded that late YSR government had completed 70% of the works to supply protected drinking water to Tenali.

But the TDP government has failed to complete the remaining works. The government has failed to check belt shops, he added. JagahmohanReddy completed 1700kmsof his padayatra at Sultanabad in Tenali Assembly constituency in Guntur district on Saturday.
