The indefinite hunger strike by the MPs of YSRC has entered the fourth day in Delhi even as only two Lok Sabha members are left at the hunger strike camp at Andhra Bhavan in Delhi with the police having shifted their three colleagues – YV Subba Reddy, Velagapalli Varaprasada Rao and Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy after their health deteriorated.

​New Delhi/ Hyderabad: The indefinite hunger strike by the MPs of YSRC has entered the fourth day in Delhi even as only two Lok Sabha members are left at the hunger strike camp at Andhra Bhavan in Delhi with the police having shifted their three colleagues – YV Subba Reddy, Velagapalli Varaprasada Rao and Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy after their health deteriorated.

Even as P Mithun Reddy and YS Avinash Reddy are continuing the hunger strike, the YSRC has given call for intensification of agitation for Special Category Status.

The party called for blockade of roads on April 10 and rail roko on April 11. It also called upon the party workers across the state to take part in hunger strike in expression of solidarity with the two MPs who are on fast in Delhi.

Meanwhile, YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s padayatra is continuing in Mangalagiri in Guntur district. The Praja Sankalpa Yatra will reach Tenali on Tuesday, the 133rd day of his padayatra.
