BJP accuses AP CM Chandrababu Naidu of spreading lies against Centre
Stating that BJP-led NDA government was committed to the development of the state, BJP alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was more interested in his political interests than that of the state. It said Naidu was creating confusion by spreading false information on Special Category Status and state bifurcation promises.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, party state secretary Jammula Shyam Kishore said that the BJP had implemented about 85 per cent of bifurcations promises. He recalled that the Chief Minister had himself participated in a programme at IIIT Visakhapatnam and appreciated the college which was a Central government project.
He blamed the TDP MPs for losing the opportunity to discuss the issues on the floor of the House instead of stalling the proceedings of Parliament. He said that TDP was copying YSRCP in all aspects. He said that 22 YSRCP MLAs had joined TDP and some of them were made ministers which shows that a combined YSRCP and TDP rule was going on in the state. He accused Naidu of provoking people of AP to derive a political mileage.
On lack of action by the state government who burnt Narendra Modi’s effigy, he said, “At some places protesters burnt the Prime Minister’s effigy. In Nandigama, TDP hacked the effigy, which shows their cruelty. In all these incidents, police played a mute spectator role. But in contrast, when the Chief Minister’s effigy was burnt, arrests were made.”
He blamed TDP leaders for for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state. Shyam Kishore accused Naidu of diverting the people attention from land, sand, mining mafia and corruption of the TDP leaders by raising SCS issue. Assailing AP Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao for his comments against the BJP government, Shyam Kishore advised him to keep up his dignity and not talk like ordinary TDP activist.
