Govt keen to make coastal belt a tourist hub in Narsapuram

The government is striving to develop the Coastal Andhra Pradesh as a tourist hub on the lines of Kerala, said Minister for Labour Pithani Satyanarayana.He along with Narsapuram MLA Bandaru Madhava Naidu inaugurated Rs 1.50 crore worth development works at Perupalem Beach in Mogaltur mandal. They also inaugurated the beach guest house at Mollaparru South.

They also inaugurated the beach guest house at Mollaparru South.

Speaking to the media, the Minister said the Chief Minister has decided to develop the coastal belt as a tourist hub and for this purpose, infrastructure would be provided at all the beaches. The coastal belt from Visakhapatnam, East and West Godavari and Nellore districts have the potentiality to develop as tourist spots, he added.

At Antarvedi shore in East Godavari, boating would be arranged for the tourists. MLA Bandaru Madhava Naidu, Sub- Collector Sumit Kumar Gandhi, Tourism Corporation General Manager Dasari Vijaya Babu and others participated in the programme.
