Eluru: Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murthy lambasted the BJP which he claimed is trying to establish a single party system in the country. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was trying to establish a fascist tendency in the country.

The Deputy Chief Minister visited Dwaraka Tirumala on Thursday to participate in various development works that were taken up by Dwaraka Tirumala Devasthanam.Speaking to the media, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the people and political parties in the country are observing the moves of BJP.

He said that the Prime Minister has no respect to the Acts that enacted in Parliament. “The people would lose faith in Parliament and Assemblies with the attitude of BJP government,” he pointed out.The Prime Minister was indulging in mud-slinging against the Opposition, he lamented.

He further stated that the Prime Minister was taking up Man ki Bath, Chai pe Charcha, PM ki Bath programmes without noticing the common man’s problems. The currency problems are still not resolved, he stated. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the BJP is encouraging the Oopposition leader in the state and in turn, he is dancing to the tunes of BJP.

He pointed out that out of 32,000 acres that were acquired for capital city Amaravati, only seven per cent would get for capital construction after giving the farmers’ share, open space and roads.

Earlier, he inaugurated Nitya Kalyanamandapam of Sri Venkateswara Swamy constructed at a cost of Rs.6.72 crore in Dwaraka Tirumala,. He also opened Anivetti Mandapam, Prasada Vikrayasala, canteen, Kalyanakatta, two ghat roads and Madhava Kalyana Mandapam.

Minister Pithani Satyanarayana, MPs Thota Sitaramalakshmi, Maganti Murali Mohan, MLA Muppidi Venkateswara Rao, Devasthanam Trust Board Chairman SV Sudhakara Rao, In-Charge Collector P Koteswara Rao accompanied the Deputy Chief Minister.
