Railway Kodur YSRCP MLA K Srinivasulu Reddy has urged the district administration to ensue steps for effective implementation of welfare schemes meant to SCs and STs. District Collector T Baburao Naidu also spoke. Later, the Minister has distributed assets to the beneficiaries. Representatives of Dalit organisations and NGOs were also present. In Proddatur, Dalit groups under the banner of the Scheduled Castes Rights Protection Society took out a rally in the town on the occasion of Ambedkar’s jayanti.
