Dharna staged for SCS

Hundreds of YSRCP workers participated in dharna at the office of the RDO near Clock Tower here on Saturday, for the sixth consecutive day denouncing the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for watering down efforts of opposition parties to introduce a no-confidence motion against it in the Parliament.Â

They also had a dig at Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for betraying the trust of people of AP state. Leaders of YSRCP vowed to carry forward the agitation for Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh until it is achieved. Political parties including Congress and Left parties have been staging protests at Clock Tower for the past one week seeking SCS for AP.
