​Vijayawada: The Television and Movie Artists Association would support the ongoing agitation for the SCS, said Ambika Krishna, Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Film Television, Theatre Development Corporation on Monday.

Addressing the media persons at the Corporation office here on Monday, Ambika Krishna has said that the members of Television and Movie Artists Association would go to Delhi and organise a protest demanding the Union government to accord special category status (SCS), implement state bifurcation promises and release funds for the development of the state.

He informed that, he spoke to Movie Artists Association (MAA) president Shivaji Raja and other senior movie artistes and discussed about the agitation in Delhi.

He said Television and Movie Artistes Association would go to Delhi and organise a mega agitation on April 22 against the NDA government and seeking justice to five crore people of AP.
