95% attend Eamcet 2018 engineering
Andhra Pradesh Eamcet 2018 The Eamcet-2018 entrance examination for engineering courses was held peacefully, said AP Eamcet convenor Ch Sai Babu. In a release here on Tuesday, Sai Babu said that 1,90,924 students appeared for engineering entrance examination in three days from April 22 while 8,513 students were absent resulting a 95.73 per cent of attendance.
Kakinada: The Eamcet-2018 entrance examination for engineering courses was held peacefully, said AP Eamcet convenor Ch Sai Babu. In a release here on Tuesday, Sai Babu said that 1,90,924 students appeared for engineering entrance examination in three days from April 22 while 8,513 students were absent resulting a 95.73 per cent of attendance.
He further said that on the last day of the examination on Tuesday, a total of 62,237 students appeared while 2,505 students were absent. He said that they had allowed the latecomers who mentioned genuine reasons for coming late to the exam.
The convenor said primary key and the master copy (exam paper) for the engineering entrance examination would be made available on the Eamcet official website on April 25. Sai Babu further said that objections from the students would be received up to 5 pm on April 27.
The entrance examination for the agriculture and medicine would be conducted on April 25 as per the schedule and a total of 76,686 students had applied for the entrance, he added.
