After inaugurating the five-day workshop on composition and translation in Sanskrit mainly intended for research scholars of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidya-peetha (RSVP) on Monday, the Vice-Chancellor Prof V Muralidhara Sharma reiterated that Sanskrit is the language, which has lucidity in conversation. While coming to the point of writing, one should have knowledge of grammar, which is the soul.

Tirupati: After inaugurating the five-day workshop on composition and translation in Sanskrit mainly intended for research scholars of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidya-peetha (RSVP) on Monday, the Vice-Chancellor Prof V Muralidhara Sharma reiterated that Sanskrit is the language, which has lucidity in conversation. While coming to the point of writing, one should have knowledge of grammar, which is the soul.

Hence, to fulfil this, one must be a voracious reader with a time frame. So that, they can mastery over the language. The main objective of the workshop was to enhance the language skills such as creative writing, standard translation etc., which will be necessary for present day students, particularly to the research scholars. While translating, one should be cautious to avoid misconception.

The recipient of President Award, Director-Vedavanivitanam Oriental Research Institute, Satna, Madhya Pradesh Dr Sudyu mnacharya participated as the chief guest of the workshop and remarked that the Sanskrit fraternity should note that, while translating, one has to see that language skills should be enhanced. Particularly, the grammatical errors should not be occurred, and this should be kept in mind. The programme began with a welcome note by Prof Korada Suryanarayana.
