Kadapa: AP state NGO president K Ashok Babu has said that with the demand of securing Special Category Status (SCS) all teachers and employees associations are going to stage dharna for two hours at all collector offices on 9th May in every district in the state.

The NGO state president who was in Kadapa on Tuesday addressed a press conference and gave a call to the employees that this is high time for employees to play important role for SCS by staging agitations in different methods to put pressure on central government.

He urged all associations affiliated to political parties to join the stir in the interest of the state. He also urged the political parties to continue the stir without obstructing the development of the state. The government had assured to appoint a committee soon on PRC pending issues.

He said that employees need not worry about pending dues related to the PRC as the Finance Minister had accepted to credit the dues in the PF account of the employees and it will be paid to the pensioners in phased manner.

State NGO secretary Chandra Sekhar Reddy urged the all employees to participate in the dharna proposed to be held on 9th May at collector offices in the interest of the state. NGO Association district president G Siva Reddy and others were present.
