Black Day observed
Black Day was observed across the city on Tuesday in response to the call given by Pratyeka Hoda, Vibhajan Hameela Sadhana Samithi and other Left parties protesting against betrayal of the BJP on according Special Category Status to the state.
Vijayawada: Black Day was observed across the city on Tuesday in response to the call given by Pratyeka Hoda, Vibhajan Hameela Sadhana Samithi and other Left parties protesting against betrayal of the BJP on according Special Category Status to the state. Leaders of Left parties, YSRCP, Jana Sena and AAP participated in the Black Day.
The leaders participated in the rally near K Market, Lenin Centre, Benz Circle and other parts of the city. The Samiti given a call for Black Day as part of fight for SCS. CPM State Secretary P Madhu, CPM state leader Chigurupati Babu Rao, CPI city secretary Donepudi Sankar, YSRCP city floor leader B Punyaseela, Jana Sena leader P Mahesh and others attended the march. They vowed to continue fight for the SCS. Lights were switched off at Lenin Centre, Vastralatha and other parts of the city from 7 pm to 7.30 pm as a part of Black Day.
