Guntur: Former minister Kanna Lakshminarayana was admitted to a private hospital with high blood pressure in the early hours of Wednesday. The doctors, who advised him to take 48-hour rest, said he was out of danger.

Lakshminarayana on Tuesday sent his resignation letter to the BJP high command and was expected to join YSRCP on Wednesday. But sources said he will join YSRCP after recovering from ill-health. His family members informed the media that he was in the ICU and doctors were conducting medical tests.
