They said that they are unable to feed their families and urgd the managements several times for salaries but in vain. The proposals sent by Mirchi Yard secretary M.Srinivasa Rao was rejected by yard Chairman Mannava Subba Rao. Similarly, the files sent by chairman Subba Rao was rejected by yard secretary Srinivasa Rao.

For contract employees, the agriculture marketing commissioner has to give permission to pay the salaries. After getting his permission, they will pay their salaries. A contract employee on the condition of the anonymity said: “I am getting a salary Rs 15,000 per month.

But I am not getting salary for the past four months, I am unable to pay my house rent. I am requesting the Guntur Mirchi Yard management to take steps to pay the salaries immediately.” Guntur Mirchi Yard secretary M Srinivasa Rao said: “I have sent a letter to the outsourcing agency to submit bills for the payment of salary amount to the mirchi yard.

After that, we will get permission from the agriculture market commissioner for the payment of salaries to the contract employees. Then we will pay salaries in next three or four days.”
