YSRCP terms TDP cycle rallies as publicity stunt

Tirupati: YSRCP general secretary and party’s official spokesperson Bhumana Karunakar Reddy lashed out at Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his cabinet colleagues for cheating the people in the name of securing Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.

“Even, the TDP MPs did not tender resignations demanding the BJP-led NDA government to grant SCS to State,” he slammed. The party city unit has organised an innovative protest here on Wednesday.

The YSRCP leader slammed the BJP and TDP leaders for failing to achieve special status to the State. He made fun of cycle rallies organised by TDP leaders across the State. “The TDP Ministers and MLAs are participating in cycle rallies to get publicity through media.

The TDP has no commitment in achieving the SCS to the State,” he flayed. Bhumana asked Chandrababu to instruct his party MPs to tender resignation for special status if he is committed for securing SCS to AP.

To express their protest in a novel way, the YSRCP workers made egg omelettes on road in high temperature. The YSRCP leaders SK Babu, Venkatesh, Mudranarayana, Thalluri Prasad, Mallam Ravichandra Reddy and others were present.
