Collector (FAC) G Srijana informed that Visakhapatnam is the best place to invest in IT and the city is also favourable destination for the employees.

The Software Technology Park of India (STPI) and AP-IT jointly organised a BPO promotion scheme in the city on Thursday. While attending the conference, Srijana called upon the IT investors to set up their units in Visakhapatnam as the government was offering several sops to the IT entrepreneurs.
She called upon the IT and BPO companies to increase the number of job vacancies and provide necessary skills to youth in the IT and BPO operations. She assured that all sort of the help from the government to the companies. Several IT professionals spoke on various issues including government incentives and facilities in Visakhapatnam.
