DRM distributes meritorious certificates to 162 staff
The Waltair Railway Division celebrated the 63rd Railway Week on Thursday commemorating the chugging off the first train in 1853 from Bori Bunder (Mumbai) to Thane.
Visakhapatnam: The Waltair Railway Division celebrated the 63rd Railway Week on Thursday commemorating the chugging off the first train in 1853 from Bori Bunder (Mumbai) to Thane.
Divisional Railway Manager Mukul Saran Mathur presided over the function and distributed merit certificates and cash awards to 162 employees for their outstanding performances during 2017-18.
The DRM complimented the meritorious services provided by the officers and staff of the Division who have done commendable work in achieving exceptional results and performance.
Appraising the performance and achievements of Division, DRM said that Waltair Division achieved record performance and surpassed the targets with the team work that led to bag 11 efficiency shields including overall efficiency shield in the zone.
Additional DRM K Dhanjeya Rao, president of ECoRWWO Waltair Sanjeela Mathur and senior divisional personnel officer C T Sakkeer Hussain were present.
