Tirupati Urban Police are making elaborate security arrangements for Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu public meeting scheduled for April 30 in support of Special Category Status to State.
Tirupati: Tirupati Urban Police are making elaborate security arrangements for Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu public meeting scheduled for April 30 in support of Special Category Status to State.
TDP leaders are expecting that more than 1 lakh people will attend the meeting at SVU stadium in the city. On Friday, Urban Police have started making adequate security arrangements for the public meeting.
Urban SP Abhishek Mohanty had already instructed the City Police to deploy Armed Police for security arrangements at the ground. SVU mobile police teams have started surveillance at the meeting venue. SP Abhishek Mohanty has said to The Hans India that around 1,000 police personnel would be deployed for security duty for public meeting.
As per the instructions of SP, Tirupati East DSP Muniramaiah, Traffic DSP Sukumari, Traffic CI Partha Sarathi and University Police station CI Srinivasulu and their staff inspected the ground and discussed about the deployment of police personnel.
They inspected all the entry and exit points of the Ground and parking area too. In this connection Traffic CI Partha Sarathi said that in view of the public meeting, the vehicular traffic coming from Chandragiri side will be diverted via Thummalagunta Road on April 30th afternoon.
Industries Minister Amarnath Reddy and MLCs Payyavula Kesavulu, Dorababu, TDP district president Nani, Telugu Yuvatha president Sridhar Varma and Party Health wing president Dr R Sudharani also inspected the meeting arrangements at the venue.
