TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal accompanied the committee which inspected Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex (MTVAC), Akshaya Kitchen in VQC 2, Solid Waste Management in Kakulakonda, Sandalwood plantation, and Boondi Potu etc.

Speaking on this occasion, the Chairman of the Committee said, the purpose of the visit is to inspect the environs in Tirumala. The environs in Tirumala are well maintained by TTD providing aesthetic feel to the pilgrims. The Annaprasadam charity by TTD is unique.

Every year, nearly Rs 96 crore is being spent on this charitable activity alone which includes Rs 60 crore as interest from SV Annaprasadam Trust while the remaining Rs 36 crore as matching grant by TTD. “We compliment TTD for all pilgrim initiatives,” he maintained.

TTD Chief Engineer Chandrasekhar Reddy, In-Charge CVSO Venkata Siva Kumar Reddy, SE II Ramachandra Reddy, DFO Phanikumar Naidu and other officials were also present.
