TTD new Trust Board oath-taking today
The oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed Chairman and members of TTD Trust Board will be held in Tirumala temple on Saturday. According to TTD Public Relations Officer T Ravi, the ceremony will be conducted at 11.30 a.m at Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple for administering the oath of office and secrecy to the Chairman and members.
Tirupati: The oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed Chairman and members of TTD Trust Board will be held in Tirumala temple on Saturday. According to TTD Public Relations Officer T Ravi, the ceremony will be conducted at 11.30 a.m at Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple for administering the oath of office and secrecy to the Chairman and members.
It may be noted here that, the government, after a gap of one year, had issued orders for the constitution of the 18-member TTD Trust Board with Putta Sudhakar as Chairman on April 20.
However, one of the members MLA Anitha who was nominated to the TTD Trust Board as member had informed to the Chief Minister in a letter that she was unwilling to take the post and sought to withdraw her appointment, following strong protests from the members of Hindu community contending that she is a practicing Christian. The government is yet to appoint a member in the place of Anitha.
