Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would take an appropriate decision with regard to the demands of the NGOs such as suspension of Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) and the constitution of Pay and Revision Committee, said P Ashok Babu, president of APNGOs Association here on Tuesday.
Chittoor: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would take an appropriate decision with regard to the demands of the NGOs such as suspension of Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) and the constitution of Pay and Revision Committee, said P Ashok Babu, president of APNGOs Association here on Tuesday.
A decision would be taken in this regard by the State Cabinet shortly, he added. Addressing press persons at Chittoor ITI, Ashok Babu made it clear that there was no question of compromising with the government as far as the demands like suspension of CPS unconditionally and constitution of the PRC Committee.
“The PRC Committee should be constituted with retired IAS officers. The availability of retired IAS officers in Vijayawada is meagre. As a result, it the constitution of PRC is likely to get delayed,” he added.
However, Ashok Babu said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was quite positive towards the demands of the NGOs. Under the present circumstances, it is the need of the hour to strengthen the State by all means in which the role of the NGOs would be more crucial, he opined.
V Krishnama Naidu, president, District NGO Association, who worked as ITI Training Officer, Chittoor, retired on April 30. A function was held here on Tuesday on the occasion of his retirement. Ashok Babu took part in the function as the chief guest.
Ashok Babu said that the retirement for any employee was inevitable and the government would safeguard the interests of the retired employees in a befitting manner.
