YSRCP protest only to divert people’s attention: Yanamala
Reacting on the protest meeting of opposition YSRCP in Visakhapatnam on Monday, Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that it was organised only to divert the attention of public from TDP national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s public meeting in Tirupati.

Yanamala criticised YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy for not attacking the Central government to sanction the Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh. Instead Jagan was blaming the State government as he fears Prime Minister Modi, he said.
Lambasting Jaganmohan Reddy for his involvement in the money laundering cases, the Finance Minister said the Opposition leader was the prime accused in 12 cases.
Comparing the careers of Naidu and Jagan, Yanamala said while Naidu had served public for more than 14 years, the Opposition leader had spent time in jail for 16 months.
He alleged that Jagan had constructed buildings at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad, Yelahanka in Bengaluru and Idupulapaya in Kadapa district, with the illegally amassed wealth during the tenure of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy as the Chief Minister.
Yanamala said Jagan was taking part in Padayatra only for four days in a week. He said the YSRCP president would discuss his cases for two days with advocates and attend the court every Friday.
Jagan and his party leaders were cheating the public in the State by bowing before the Prime Minister to come out of money laundering cases, he said.
The Finance Minister came down heavily on YSRCP for trying to create hurdles to every development project in the State including construction of the capital city Amaravati.
