SRM varsity offers tuition fee waiver for top rankers
SRM University announced the results of the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) for admission into B Tech degree programmes in its university on Tuesday through SRM University website (www.srmuniv.ac.in).
Vijayawada: SRM University announced the results of the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) for admission into B Tech degree programmes in its university on Tuesday through SRM University website (www.srmuniv.ac.in).
Dr P Sathyanarayanan, president of the SRM, said the counselling will begin from May 7 for admissions into B Tech at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur (Chennai), SRM Haryana, Sonepat and SRM AP, Amaravati.
He said that counselling for admission into B Tech has been scheduled for SRM University- Haryana, SRM University- AP, Amaravati from May 7 to 10 at their respective campuses. SRM Institute of Science and Technology has scheduled counselling from May 11 to 20, at its NCR campus and Kattankulathur campus.
He said candidates can download their rank card, counselling call letter from the dashboard. Founder’s scholarships will be awarded based on the rank obtained in SRMJEEE 2018 on the first day of counselling.
Top 100 ranks in SRMJEEE will receive 100 per cent waiver of tuition and hostel fees, rank 101 to 500–100 per cent tuition fee waiver, rank 501 to 1000–75 per cent tuition fee waiver and rank 1001 to 2000- 50 per cent tuition fee waiver and rank 2001 to 3000- 25 per cent tuition fee waiver. A total of Rs 30 crore worth scholarships are on offer across the SRM Group of Institutions, he added.
