7 molestation cases reported in Guntur district
Seven minor girls\' molestation cases were reported in Guntur district this year since January. In a press release here on Thursday, the DGP office said the six accused were arrested in six cases and hunt was on to nab the accused in seventh case.
Vijayawada: Seven minor girls' molestation cases were reported in Guntur district this year since January. In a press release here on Thursday, the DGP office said the six accused were arrested in six cases and hunt was on to nab the accused in seventh case.
These molestation incidents took place in the police station limits of Chandole, Nagarjuna Sagar, Tenali, Narasaraopet, Bellamkonda, Kolluru and Dachepalli. The victims were in the age group of 4 to 12 years and accused in the age group of 19 to 50. Except in Dachepalli case, police arrested all the accused.
The press release further stated that the accused were identified as Ch Praveen, 19, K Balu Nayak, 32, Gandi Kota Narsimha, 25, Sk Moulali, 50, Sk Chan Saida, 50, J Gopi, 25, and Subbaiah 50. Except Subbaiah, all the accused were arrested by police.
