TDP conspiracy alleged in framing scan centre
YSRCP in-charge for the GD Nellore mandal R Gandhi has condemned the irregularities in Naveen Scan Centre at Sundarayyar street here. Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Gandhi alleged that the ruling TDP leaders hatched a conspiracy against him to defame his credibility by framing charges against his scan centre.
Chittoor: YSRCP in-charge for the GD Nellore mandal R Gandhi has condemned the irregularities in Naveen Scan Centre at Sundarayyar street here. Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Gandhi alleged that the ruling TDP leaders hatched a conspiracy against him to defame his credibility by framing charges against his scan centre.
He explained the National Inspection and Monitoring Committee (NIMC) official Ajay Kumar and DMHO Dr Vijaya Gouri have made a surprise visit to his ultrasound Scan Centre on April 26 and verified all the records. Gandhi, who was also former TDP MLA, has informed the media that the NIMC official and DMHO have seized the registers and records for verification.
The Dalit leader alleged that the DMHO has issued show cause notice seeking explanation over lapses in the scan centre when he is running it without violating the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act. He accused of certain local TDP leaders have intentionally complained to NIMC officials and DMHO against his scan centre.
He denied charges of sex determination tests were conducted in the scan centre. Gandhi said that his wife Dr Chandramma has been supervising the scan centre and made it clear he will not close the medical facility because of allegations. Responding on the allegations, Dr Vijaya Gouri said that they have found grave irregularities in the running of scan centre.
