YSRCP 9-day padayatra begins
Expressing his solidarity with their leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra, party senior leader and MP Vijayasai Reddy and other senior leaders launched padayatra in the city on Wednesday.
Visakhapatnam: Expressing his solidarity with their leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra, party senior leader and MP Vijayasai Reddy and other senior leaders launched padayatra in the city on Wednesday.
Aiming to cover all the 72 divisions of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC), the city wing of the party planned a nine-day padayatra led by MP Vijayasai Reddy. As a part of the programme, a bike rally was taken out from the party office to Samapth Vijayagar temple located at Asilmetta Junction.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijaya Sai Reddy said that during their nine-day padayatra they would explain to the people how the BJP and TDP cheated the people on Special Category Status (SCS) and Railway Zone with Visakhapatnam as headquarters. In order to put exert pressure on the Centre, padayatra was planned covering almost all the areas of the city, Reddy added.
