Amaravati: BJP leader Raghuramakrishnam Raju formally joined in the TDP in the presence of party president N Chandrababu Naidu here on Friday.
On this occasion, Chandrababu Naidu invited the leaders from various political parties to join TDP and support the fight of the state government against the Central government for justice to AP. Naidu explained that he developed Hyderabad as a global city and now striving to put Amaravati on the globe as one in top 10.
If the Central government supports his efforts, then he would develop the state quickly, but due to the indifferent attitude of the Centre, there was delay in development, he lamented. He opined that, whoever wish the development of the state must join hands with TDP.
