Nellore: Governor ESL Narasimhan has praised Nellore as a model to other districts in providing service to the humanity. He along with his wife Vimala Narasimhan visited the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) in the city here on Thursday.
Narasimhan visited school run for the mentally challenged children, blood bank and cancer hospital run by the IRCS in the city as part of his one-day visit. He spent time with the mentally challenged children and interacted with the IRCS authorities.
Addressing the gathering at the Red Cross Bhavan, Governor said that the IRCS has been serving the communities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
