Visakhapatnam-based tennis player Likitha Landa has been selected for undergoing training at Zeeshan Ali Tennis Academy in Bengaluru for her exceptional talent.
Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam-based tennis player Likitha Landa has been selected for undergoing training at Zeeshan Ali Tennis Academy in Bengaluru for her exceptional talent.
The 18-year-old Likitha is a Law student of Andhra University. District Sports Development Officer (DSDO) June Gallyot said that inspired by Likitha’s performance in the tennis with her forehand and backhand shots, the Zeeshan Ali Tennis Academy has chosen the girl and came forward for sponsoring her for coaching in the academy.
June Gallyot said that Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) conducted selection camp in Visakhapatnam and selected 11 junior (below 16 years) players from across the state for admission into the Indian Davis Cup coach Zeeshan Ali’s Tennis Academy in Bengaluru. As Likitha is 18-year-old, she has not qualified but the academy has given a chance to her for her superb performance.
