Awareness meetings to benefit power consumers

Visakhapatnam: Chairman and Managing Director of APEPDCL H Y Dora stated that the conducting of awareness meetings on the services being provided for the benefit of consumers by the APEPDCL (Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited) is having great impact on the consumers’ thinking.

Awareness meetings are being conducted for consumers at section level offices in APEPDCL jurisdiction of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East and West Godavari Districts. These meetings throw light on the quality of power, power saving tips, services provided for the benefit of consumers and other related issues.

During the meetings the engineers of the APEPDCL vividly explain the consumers about EODB, Urjamitra, Digital Payment Channels, Consumer Mobile apps, spot billing, vehicle tracking system, new sub-stations, power supply position and schemes like NTR Jalasiri, Solar Rooftop, LED bulbs, Jagjeevan Jyothi, DDUGJY, IPDS and demand for power to the agricultural sector.

The APEPDCL arranged a toll free number 1912 to solve the problems including power interruptions, falling of electricity polls, snapping of wires, low voltages and transformers problems.
