Former CBI joint director Lakshminarayana, who has taken voluntary retirement from the all India police services, has decided to adopt Sahalalaputtuga village in Srikakulam district.
Taking part in the Swachch Bharat programme in the village, he said that his tours of rural Andhra were not ritual visits. He said he is touring the interiors only to understand the problems being faced by the common man.
He said he would strive to solve the problems of the people. He said his aim is to make agriculture profitable and called for great awarenss among the farmers.
