7-year-old girl raped by mason
A 7-year-old girl was raped by 23-year-old youth Nagula Meera in Modukuru village of Tsundur mandal in Guntur district. This incident came to light on Monday but the sexual assault on the girl took place on April 3.

According to cops, the accused, who was a mason, is nearest relative to the minor girl. He lured her by offering chocolates and developed good contacts.
On April 3rd, he offered chocolates and money to the minor girl and took her to an isolated place and raped her. He warned to beat her if she reveals to anybody. Since then, the minor girl seems dull and worrying.
On Monday, she informed the matter to her parents that she has been suffering from stomach pain since the rape incident. After conducting tests, the doctors in the GGH in Tenali informed that the minor was raped. Based on the complaint, Tsundur police registered a case under the POCSO Act against the accused.
When the minor girl was admitted to the GGH in Tenali, the gynaecologists were not in the hospital. Parents of the victim complained to the AP State Women's Commission Chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari. She expressed ire on the doctors for delay in providing treatment to the minor.
Immediately, doctor came to the hospital and started the treatment. Speaking to the media, she said that the government will take stern action against the accused. She condemned the incident. Tenali DSP M Snehita said that a case was registered against the accused and arrested him.
