Four held for fake gold sale
Tirupati central crime police personnel have arrested a four-member gang on the charges of selling fake gold as original gold to the people in various places and cheated many innocent people. Police have recovered Rs 3 lakh cash and 8 grams of original gold and fake gold of 1 kg.

According to CCS DSP R Ravi Sankar Reddy, they have arrested B Siva Krishna of Karnataka state (gang leader), M Siva Prasad, G Mohan and K Karunakar Reddy, all the three from Valmikipuram of Chittoor District. The gang members indulged in crimes for the past two years in residential areas acting as sellers of plastic toys and bed sheets.
The gang members had cheated gullible people in Chennai, Calcutta, Hyderabad, Chittoor, Tirupati, Bengaluru, Vizag, and Vijayawada. On Sunday evening the CCS CI has arrested the four member gang at Alipiri Balaji link Bus Stand. The culprits confessed that they had cheated people to the tune of Rs 20 lakhs.
The CCS DSP Ravi Sankar Reddy said that for the arrest of other members of this gang police are searching in Bengaluru and other areas. CCS CI Bhaskar Reddy has arrested the four accused and registered a case.
