Nellore: A 50-year-old man tried to molest a minor girl on the outskirts of the city on Monday. Local people who heard her screaming rushed to the place and rescued her. Infuriated people thrashed the person and informed to the police.
Rural Police who rushed to the spot took the person into their custody. According to sources, Sivaiah from Venkateswarapuram Girijan Colony is a daily labourer. He tried to molest the girl who went for nature call. Police shifted him to the Police Station.
