East Coast Railway bags first place
Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) meeting was held at the Divisional Railway Manager’s office here on Tuesday.
Visakhapatnam: Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) meeting was held at the Divisional Railway Manager’s office here on Tuesday.
Among the major best performance shields, the East Coast Railway bagged the first position, Eastern Naval Command second and Employees Provident Fund Organisation third position. Three more shields were awarded to Wireless Monitoring Organisation, Postmaster General Office and Office of Commissioner of Customs.
Discussions were held on various problems arising in implementation and propagation of official Language in offices at the meeting. Addressing the meeting, Chairman of the Committee and Additional DRM K Dhanunjay Rao congratulated the shield winning offices.
He advised the offices to conduct various cultural and entertainment programmes in Hindi. He advised to encourage employees to participate in Hindi competitions and programmes.
Congratulating the shield winners, Tekchand, Deputy Director (OL), Bengaluru advised to bring positive atmosphere for implementation of Hindi in offices. Ramadevi, Secretary, TOLIC and Rajbhasha Adhikari of Waltair Division, also addressed the gathering.
