Nellore: Sannareddy Bhargav Reddy (47), owner of the popular film making company Bhargav Art Productions, was found dead suspiciously at Pambali coast in Vakadu mandal on Tuesday. Bhargav Reddy, who was son of veteran producer S Gopal Reddy, came to Vakadu from Chennai on Monday evening for interacting with the staff of his own hatchery.

According to police sources, he reportedly ventured into the sea during night time along with his pet dog and failed to come back. His dead body was recovered between Anjalapuram and Srinivasa Puram villages on the coast in the morning hours. “Bhargav Reddy came to Pambali village at around 4.30 pm. He interacted with the staff members in the hatchery and paid electricity bills and wages to them.

Further, he went to the sea coast along with his pet at around 5.30 pm on Monday evening and had not returned since then,” said Vakadu Circle Inspector U Satyanarayana. Dead body of Bhargav Reddy was kept at a private hospital as sister of Bhargav Reddy was said to be on the way from abroad after knowing about the sudden demise of her brother.

Sources said that Bhargav Reddy along with his pet dog ventured into the sea for bathing and enjoyment. Suddenly, a gigantic tidal wave in which both Bhargav and the dog swept away. Dead body was found on Tuesday morning when staff members and villagers started search operations.

Further, S Gopala Reddy was a popular Tollywood producer, who started his banner on his son’s name and produced many hit films in 80s and 90s like Mahanadi, Madhura Nagarilo, Muddula Menalludu, Murali Krishnudu, Muvva Gopaludu, Muddula Krishnaiah, Maa Pallelo Gopaludu, Mangamma Gari Manamadu, and many others.

The banner produced many films with actor-turned MLA N Balakrishna which were very popular especially directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. After demise of the founder Gopal Reddy in 2008, there were no movies from the banner and his son was focusing on business activities.
