Youth’s rape bid on minor

A 17-year-old old youth tied to rape on an eight-year- old girl at Repalle in Guntur district on Tuesday. According to police, victim was residing with her parents at Avarapalli SC Colony three km from Repalle.
Guntur: A 17-year-old old youth tied to rape on an eight-year- old girl at Repalle in Guntur district on Tuesday. According to police, victim was residing with her parents at Avarapalli SC Colony three km from Repalle.
Her relative Sai Kiran, who was residing in the same colony, went to her house when she was alone and tried to rape her when she raised an alarm, neighbours caught him and handed over to police.
Based on a complaint lodged by victim’s family, police registered a case and took up investigation. The victim was shifted to the local government hospital for treatment.
