Responding to a news report on shortage of doctors at MCHC (Mother and Child Healthcare Centre) in RIMS here in The Hans India on Thursday, Srikakulam Lok Sabha member Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu promised to solve it soon by taking up the matter with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Srikakulam: Responding to a news report on shortage of doctors at MCHC (Mother and Child Healthcare Centre) in RIMS here in The Hans India on Thursday, Srikakulam Lok Sabha member Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu promised to solve it soon by taking up the matter with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking to The Hans India on the report published under headline ‘Shortage of doctors ails RIMS’, the MP acknowledged the existence of problem in the hospital. Stating that most of the specialist doctors were not willing to work in government hospital, he assured that they would take remedial measures.

He said the TDP government had improved facilities at RIMS, including increasing the number of beds, providing new buildings and modern medical equipment, in the last four years.
