The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) has embarked on a massive publicity campaign on the newlyintroduced Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) Token system which aims at providingeasy darshan to pilgrims minimising their long waiting hours in queuelines and compartments.

Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) has embarked on a massive publicity campaign on the newlyintroduced Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) Token system which aims at providingeasy darshan to pilgrims minimising their long waiting hours in queuelines and compartments.

To inform wider range of pilgrims coming from across the country fordarshan of Lord Venkateswara about the new system, the TTD had brought out10 lakh pamphlets and handouts in various languages includingTelugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English. Apart from this, flexiboards have also been put up at various focal points in Tirumala andTirupati.Besides, SrivariSevakulu have also been engaged for publicity campaign on the new darshan system.

Over 100 volunteerstaking up campaign daily through mega phones and public address system seeking the pilgrims toavail hassle-free darshan by duly giving details ofcounters set up in Tirumala and Tirupati. This publicity campaign by volunteers is taken up in Bhudevi
complex near Alipiri, Railway Station, APSRTC Bus station, II and IIInew choultries behind railway station, Vishnu Nivasam and Srinivasampilgrim amenities complex where TTD had set up counters for giving SSD tokens to pilgrims.

TTD also extended the publicity campaign to Renigunta Railway junction, 10 km from here where Sevakulu distributing pamphlets to passengers in all trains reaching Tirupati while similar campaignis going on at RTC bus stand, ATC circle, near MBCenquiry centre and other places in Tirumala, appealing devotees to availSSD token for darshan.

TTD IT wing utilising the social media by keeping the details ofinformation on SSD token system and also in its official website whilesome media channels and volunteers taken up publicity campaign through WhatsApp, twitter and Facebook to reach the global pilgrims, givingimpetus to publicity campaign on SSD.
